This last year has been such a wonderful adventure with so many new beginnings, but with all of the distractions I just feel like I have let myself go! So now that things have settled down a little I am trying to refocus and once again start fighting the “battle of the bulge.” Since the beginning of the year I have began making my workouts a routine, so now it is time to tackle my diet. This is always the hardest thing for me because I never have been very successful at eating really healthy. When I think of eating healthy I think of chicken and vegetables. So what happens when I try to eat healthy? I eat chicken and veggies for about a week, and by the end I can’t even force-feed myself the stuff because I am soooo sick of chicken and veggies! Lets just face it, when it comes to eating healthy I am just NOT creative.
So I once again need your help. I am looking for some of your favorite healthy AND tasty recipes. Breakfast’s, lunches, dinners even snacks… I want them all. If you have a favorite recipe please post it on my blog or you can email me at Heather.Robison@yahoo.com. Thanks!

I love this picture! So...um...can you share any recipes you get? I am in need of good healthy recipes too! Where have you been working out? We should go together to the DCC!!!
When I was die hard about my diet I ate Body for Life recipes all the time! He uses a lot of ground turkey, and chicken but they also have steak if you need the change! :)
You can find the recipes online I think, I just googled Body For Life recipes. They also have great soups!
My friend gave me the best idea. She takes raw veggies and chops them or slices them and puts them in one of those divided trays and keeps it in her fridge, then she uses them to make salads, burritos, sandwiches, etc. or you can just have them for quick snacks.
It's much easier for me to eat veggies if it's easy.
Heather good for you. I was eating super healthy over in hawaii and came back and well.. haha not it wasn't too bad but i got a little out of shape and so am right there. A few snacks that i like that are healthy is you can get the yoplait light yogurt which is really good. If you go to smiths in the lunchmeat section they have these sugar free jello cups that are really low in calories and good. Check out the fiber one granola bars.

I am so the same way I hate eating healthy and I think the only reason I exercise is so I can eat like crap! Due to the fact I am going to Hawaii next month I have been just trying to eat the same amount of carbs as protein at the same time so it evens it out. I usually see results if I do that. I have a meal plan that takes you through day to day some health guy made for me after I had the twins. Ill e-mail it to you! Im so glad you guys had so much fun in Moab. We need to do a fun girls trip soon or a girls night!
2 words... SMART COOKIE!!! If you eat a cookie with each meal, you are guaranteed to loose SO much weight! It's crazy!!! Ha ha!! !!
Good luck with the dieting thing. I have never been a big fan of the diet thing. And I can't give you any good recipes because Kent is the cook in the family.
I do work out a lot and make sure to eat every two hours. Believe or not that helps a lot. Good Luck!!!
